Cold on the Go delivers refrigerated trailers, portable freezer storage, and bagged ice to many locations in Georgia and northern Florida. We like to think we have become pretty familiar with this area, and what's good! The local guides are our way of sharing some of our favorite spots in the south. Up next is Atlanta, GA!
Food & Drink:
Ladybird Grove & Mess Hall - things look different post-COVD but their brunch food is tough to beat! Check the website for details on how to order your "provisions" in Atlanta. When things return to normal, it's conveniently located off the Beltline making it perfect for weekend brunch.
Fox Brothers BBQ - featured on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives! Grab "The Big Tex" meal or Jalapeno Cheddar Sausage and Pimento Cheese - you won't be sorry! Fox Bros Atlanta offers catering as well!
JCT. Kitchen & Bar - creative upscale southern foods and fun craft drinks. Order the fried chicken and thank us later. It's located off Howell Mill Road, and offers curbside pick-up!
Attractions:
College Football Hall of Fame - this is a must-see! College football fans can experience the Game Day Theater, Hall of Fame, and so many interactive exhibits like the indoor playing field. We say "Go Dawgs" at Cold on the Go!
Atlanta Botanical Gardens - the gardens are open with seasonal exhibits year-round. Many enjoy visiting during spring, and winter. Our favorite is winter with the Christmas light shows and holiday cheer.
Stone Mountain Park - it's a short drive from downtown Atlanta but worth the gas money! Hike the trails or hop on the "Skyride" to the summit and catch a one-of-a-kind view of Georgia, ride the locomotive train around the base of the mountain, and watch a laser show at dusk.
Whether you're a local who is being a tourist in their own town, or a visitor looking for a place to visit - we hope this list of things to do and places to eat in Atlanta was helpful!
